Interesting Fact: I practiced Taiko (Japanese Drumming) and Sado (Japanese Tea Ceremony) while living in Japan. Now I just play Taiko Wii.
Favorite Spot on Campus: In summer—right on the edge of the rim. The sun sets later up here. I love that feeling. In winter—in front of any of the fire places. I’ve got my eye on the new Student Union fireplace.
Favorite Food: All the food on the Himalayan Restaurant lunch buffet.
Advice for the College Search Process: Pick your favorite colleges, and then pick a few that seem like o.k. fits. Research and visit them all. The college I thought I wanted to go to was not the college for me. The college I wasn’t sure about ended up being the best thing that ever happened to me. So, keep your eyes open for all possible fits. It’s worth a little extra work to keep your options open and find the best place.
