First-year undergraduate scholarships

Fort Lewis College awards scholarships during admissions to help undergraduate students finance their college education. You can receive scholarships based on academic merit through your major and many other avenues.

Merit Scholarships

Admitted first-year students, including those earning a GED, are automatically considered for merit-based tuition scholarships. These scholarships are based on a student’s cumulative GPA and are renewable for four years. You do not need to complete a separate application.

State Exchange Merit Scholarships

You can also receive a Merit Scholarship through the New Mexico Reciprocal Scholarship or the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Scholarship. Merit scholarships cannot be combined.
