Academic Advising at Fort Lewis College
Fort Lewis College believes deeply in the importance of academic advising.
Upon entering the College, every student is assigned a faculty advisor who is available to answer questions about classes & programs; to review past, current, & proposed course work; to guide educational & career planning, and to help with academically related problems. All degree-seeking students must meet with their academic advisors at least once a term to review their progress towards graduation and to plan course selection for the next term.
The Academic Advising Center (AAC) provides supplemental advising for students in addition to that available from faculty advisors. The AAC offers support for faculty advisors through workshops, departmental liaison programs, and individual consultations.
