Course Development
Course Proposal Process
- The deadline for submitting course proposals to the General Education Council is August 25, 2004. Proposals are submitted to the General Education Council Chair Gary Gianniny.
Course Criteria
TS2 Course Development
Stipends will be available this summer for a limited number of faculty members to collaboratively design new courses for the Thematic Studies 2 part of our general education program. Proposals (see Option 1 below) for summer course development support must be submitted to General Education Council Chair Gary Gianniny by April 5. Proposals will be reviewed immediately with responses anticipated by April 16th. If there are more proposals than available stipends, priority will be given to proposals for courses in the Technology theme first, followed by Culture, Natural Environment, and Systems. Priority will also be given to proposals that appear most likely to result in courses that will be taught by more than one faculty member (multiple sections) on a regular basis.
