• START HERE!  The following is a link to the College's Internal Planning and Approval Form in Excel (enable the macros when using this format) or PDF format. This form must be completed prior to a grant submission remember to attach a draft proposal, budget, and budget narrative when routing for signatures.
• Project Data Sheet (Form) - If an award is made, please fill out this form to set up an account with an associated grant budget code. 
• IRB Compliance - Does your project require review by the IRB? If your sponsored research project involves human subjects, oral histories, or if you are unsure please visit the IRB website to review their materials and download an application.  If you have any questions, contact Chair, Mary Ann Erickson 247-7694.

Funding Resources

• AASCU Grants Resource Center provides personalized technical assistance in resource identfication for Fort Lewis College faculty and staff.  They will answer questions about grant opportunities, conduct online searches for funding sources, research federal budget and policy matters, obtian funded proposals, and arrange meetings with federal offices, as needed. To do an online search you will need FLC's institutional username and password, please contact Angie at x7695 or  rochat_a@fortlewis.edu to obtain them.
• Council of Undergraduate Research - Is a professional association that offers many great opportunities for undergraduate institutions.

 Institutional Funding Resources for Faculty

• Fort Lewis College Faculty Development Grants for research are avilable each fall.  The purpose of this funding is to enhance faculty development as scholars, teachers, and innovators through three priority areas, which are 1) Traditional Scholarship, 2) The Scholarship of Teaching, and 3) Teaching Innovation. • Fort Lewis College Faculty Development Grants in Teaching Innovation, Pedagogy, and Assessment are available each fall.  The purpose of this funding is to enhance faculty's development as teachers and innovators.  Please contact Dr. Ron Estler at x 7238 or estler_r@fortlewis.edu for futher information after reading the guidelines:FDTIPA.
