English Education Major Karen Y. Boush won the 2007 Campus Writing Award for the best academic essay in upper division classes.

English Writing Major Erin Reilly won the 2007 Campus Writing Award for best academic essay written in a freshmen or sophomore class.

English Education graduate Dan Garner is teaching at Durango High School.

Faculty News

Delilah Orr and Faron Scott have been promoted to Professor of English; Brad Benz and Shawn Fullmer have attained tenure and are now Associate Professors of English.

Leslie Blood, Stacy Sotosky, and Pamela Uschuk have joined the Faculty in the English and Communications Department.

Kurt Lancaster is now an Assistant Professor at Northern Arizona University.
