Jazz Ensemble: The Fort Lewis College Jazz Ensemble, is the college's premiere jazz group performing serveral concerts each semester on and off campus. The ensemble performs a wide variety of styles associated with the jazz idiom. Literature ranges from standards to moderns works composed and arranged by local and national composers. The Jazz Ensemble is the featured group performing at the Four Corners/Fort Lewis College Jazz Festival each winter term. The guest artists who have performed with the ensemble in recent years have been Bruce Paulson, Chris Vadala, Alex Acuña,and Brad Goode. Brad Goode will be the featured artist at the 2006 jazz festival February 23rd. Alex Acuña performs a masterclass at 2002 Jazz Festival
