Ayla Moore

Visiting Instructor of Writing

Ayla Moore has been teaching in the Writing Program since 1996. She loves teaching FLC students and enjoys witnessing the moment when they go from not knowing something to knowing it. Several of her students have been awarded prizes in the Campus Writing Competition. She is an avid telemarker, rafter, ice hockey player, and runner. She is married, has two daughters and lives in Durango. Her topics of interest include studying the purposes of a liberal arts education, environmental ethics and the revitalization of the commons, and Eros, or romantic love.
