Stephanie Vie Assistant Professor of Composition and Rhetoric
After spending six years in the desert Southwest, Stephanie is enjoying the snow and seasons of Durango. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Stephanie did her undergraduate work at a small liberal arts college in St. Louis, Maryville University. Her graduate degree in Composition is from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and her doctoral work was completed at the University of Arizona. Her dissertation focused on users' perceptions of privacy in social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook. Her research and teaching interests include social networking sites, video games, and Japanese anime. She is Project Editor for Computers and Composition Digital Press, Assistant Editor for Kairos: A Journal of Rhetoric, Technology, and Pedagogy, and copyeditor for Community Literacy Journal. |
