Lori
Benefiel has over 13 years of direct practice clinical experience in the
field of medical social work. Her areas of expertise are in
short-term/crisis counseling, adjustment counseling and providing services
to families and children with disabilities. Her graduate work focused
on infant facial preference research and medical social work. She has
taught courses in Introduction to Psychology, Human Development and
Introduction to Sociology. Her current interests include adjustment
issues in adolescence and interactions between generations in the work
place. She teaches Introduction
to Psychology and Human Relations
at Fort Lewis College.
