Michael Uhes graduate training was in clinical psychology. A postdoctoral student of Joseph Wolpe and Arnold Lazarus, Michael is a former staff psychologist with the Peace Corps who worked in Micronesia, Central America, Brazil, Korea and Zaire.  A full time clinician for over 20 years, he has taught undergraduate psychology at Carroll College and the Metropolitan State College of Denver, and at the graduate level at Colorado State University and the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine.  His areas of interest, research and specialization include behavior therapy interventions in the treatment of anxiety disorders and behavioral medicine phenomena, and the determination of psychological skill sets involved in cross-cultural adaptation.  Dr. Uhes has published numerous scientific articles on health psychology and on the key variables involved in cross cultural adaptation.
