Mini-Grants are Available!
The Louis Stokes Colorado Alliance for Minority Participation LS-COAMP at Fort Lewis College strives to support underrepresented minority students (African American, Alaskan Native, Hispanic, Native American, and Pacific Islander) who are studying science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) with the goal of increasing the number of baccalaureate degrees granted in these disciplines each year.
ONLY BIOLOGY, AGRICULTURE, CHEMISTRY, MATH, PHYSICS, ENGINEERING, COMPUTER SCIENCE OR GEOSCIENCES MAJORS MAY APPLY.
CO-AMP will consider request for mini-grants to be used for a variety of academically or professionally related experiences. Fill out the application and provide a 1-page summary of how the funds will be used as well as a detailed budget request. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
These are a few examples of common types of activities that can be funded:
- Undergraduate Research
- Conference Expenses
- Summer Internship
- Graduate School Support or GRE (Graduate Record Examination) Fees
- Other activities may be funded, please submit requests

Funding will be determined by Don May and Jessica Pierce. You will be informed of funding decisions via email.
