Facilities Mission

Fort Lewis College will utilize its campus facilities in a thoughtful and balanced manner.  The College is committed to ensuring the full use of its facilities for the education of its students first.  Secondly, we strive to support constituencies within the Durango community and region to further the goals and objectives outlined in the College’s planning priorities.  Whenever possible, the College will provide meeting, conference, recreational, and other facilities’ space and equipment to external organizations whose goals and objectives complement the mission of Fort Lewis College.

Priorities for use of the Facilities

Coordination for facilities usage is determined by the nature of the event and usually based on the following priorities:

1.        After academic classes have been scheduled, classrooms will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

2.        Non-academic classroom facilities will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
