I. PURPOSE:
To identify and manage the support of Special Events provided by Physical Plant Services (PPS). Approved by the President's Cabinet September 2000.
II. OBJECTIVE:
To establish a systematic means to provide support for Special Events and identify those Special Events that will be supported at no charge as well as establish rate schedules for unsupported Special Events.
III. GENERAL
A. Supported Events: No Charge
For those events listed below, there will be no charges for delivery and set up as long as the events are held on the FLC campus and equipment is returned undamaged and in clean, presentable condition. Supported Events - No Charge:
- Convocation - Graduations - Homecoming bonfire cleanup and Parent's Week-end Brunch. - Hozhoni days basketball tournament and Pow Wow. - Varsity sports scheduled games and competitions. - SOAR
B. Supported Events: Charge
- All events except those listed above will be charged.
- Delivery and/or set up of FLC event equipment will be billed at the current cost as indicated in the Table in Section C.
- All equipment and/or service will require a signed Special Event/Set Up Form.
- Special Event/Set Up Forms must be submitted no later than two weeks in advance of the event. All equipment and labor needs must be included on the Physical Plant Services Special Event/Set-Up Form.
- Labor costs beyond the equipment set up charges shown in the Table in Section C will be charged at shop rates (e.g. custodial clean up, electrical modifications, etc.).
- FLC users/requesters are allowed to pick up and return FLC Event Equipment at no charge from the PPS. All equipment must be returned:
- Undamaged -In clean and presentable condition -Stacked in an approved way for storage

Tents: -Any tents erected on campus will require supervision of PPS Grounds and Maintenance staff. (Current charges will be billed.) -Tents requiring the use of stakes, must be erected in areas designated as permanent locations on campus. These areas are equipped with permanent tie-downs. Contact Physical Plant Services for a map showing permanent tent locations.
