Office of Human Resources

The Office of Human Resources provides a wide array of services to support the Fort Lewis College community. The office  supports the teaching and learning environment at Fort Lewis College by providing an array of employment related services that are compliant with Federal and State laws to all FLC employees. Services provided are:

  • Administration of the State of Colorado Personnel System for Classified Staff
  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Compensation
  • Evaluation
  • Consultation
  • Administration of all Benefits Programs
  • Maintenance of all Human Resources Information Systems
  • Assistance with Employee Relations Processes
  • Staff Development

These include orientations for new employees, administering benefits, processing workers compensation claims, and maintaining all data for payroll and employee profiles and insuring that an equal opportunity policies are enforced for employees and  job applicants.   The office offers and administers training for yearly performance evaluations for classified staff. Human Resources maintains a library of videos, audio cassettes and other resources for staff development. Please feel free to contact us.

The Office of Human Resources accepts applications for positions in the State of Colorado Personnel System. The State Applicant Data System is used for new and promotional job opportunities applications and for keeping existing applications current. The office also completes the testing and hiring process for State of Colorado Classified positions at Fort Lewis College.

Employees are encouraged to visit the Office of Human Resources as a new employee, exiting employee, or whenever changes in their lives or employment occur.
