  •  Get your ID Card - also known as the Skycard: 
    Employees are encouraged to obtain an employee ID card as soon after starting employment as possible. Advantages include discounts at various Durango businesses and a 10% discount at the FLC bookstore and food discounts with SODEXHO dining. The card also has a magnetic strip that employees may put pre-paid dollar amounts on the card for food purchases with SODEXHO tax free.

  •  Pick up a Parking Pass:
    Parking is an ever present issue at FLC. If you plan to park your car anywhere on campus between September through April, you are required to purchase a parking sticker which costs $90.00. You may have this amount deducted out of your paycheck pre tax and/or taken out over 4 months.  For more information visit the Campus Police website.

  •   Special Discounts for State Employees! 
    The state of Colorado Human Resources department has worked with numerous companies across the state to bring special discounts to state employees. Please go to the Work Life Discount web page for more information.
  •   On Campus Child Care:
    Campbell Child and Family Center is an early care and education program with high quality staff. Employees who have children ages 1 year to 5 years of age can enroll their children in this on-campus childcare program. For pricing and more information, call the Center at (970) 247-7679.
  •   Employee Assistance Program:
    Our Employee Assistance Program provides employees up to 8 free counseling sessions with a licensed professional for a variety of personal or work related concerns.  Please contact the HR office for more information.
  •   Tuition Discounts:
    Tuition discounts are provided for benefited employees (non-temporary working at least 50%) and employee’s dependents. Employees may take up to 6 hours of credits at FLC (per fiscal year) tuition free. Employee’s spouse AND children receive 25% discount on in-state tuition if enrolled in 6 credit hours or more.
  •   Work Out on Campus!
    The Student Life Center is a great place tfor employees to work out.  Options include a varitey of classes, including aerobics, pilates and kickboxing - class schedules are e-mailed to campus faculty and staff at the beginning of every semester.  You'll also find an impressive variety of state-of-the-art workout equipment and free weights.  Punch passes are available - call the Student Life Center today for more information.   Fort Lewis College also has an active Wellness Committee that provides opportunities for healthy lifestyle practices and education.  For more information, visit the Student Life website.
