1. Computer Lab Monitor
This part-time position performs tasks related to the maintenance and function of all Academic Computing Labs on campus. Start date is August 31, 2009. Starting pay is $7.28/hr.

Duties:

- Proactively monitor all lab activity including hardware and software support, printer paper and toner, clean tables and computers, ensure no food or drinks in the lab, enforce Academic Computing lab policies, answer phones, provide information, report issues to Client Services staff, keep literature racks stocked.

Qualifications:
- Registered student with a GPA of 2.5 or above
- Technical computer skills
- Positive customer service-oriented attitude 


2. Call Center Technician
This part-time position helps to provide outstanding support for all faculty, staff, and students at Fort Lewis College. Start date can be as early as August 18, 2009. Starting pay is $8.75/hr.

Duties:
- Answer calls and respond to online requests related to Information Technology on campus
- Troubleshoot and resolve various Windows PC and Macintosh hardware and software problems
- Communicate effectively with a variety of clients
- Learn the organizational structure of the Information Technology department so that calls can be promptly routed to appropriate teams
- Utilize FootPrints software for call tracking and resolution
- Contribute to the construction and maintenance of the Call Center Knowledge Base within FootPrints

Desired Qualifications:
- Registered student with a GPA of 2.5 or above 
- Strong communication skills - must be able to speak in a professional manner to a variety of clients
- Strong problem solving and technical computer skills
- Collaborative team player
- Familiarity with Windows XP and Macintosh OS X operating systems
- Positive customer service-oriented attitude

 
3. Resident Technician (ResTech)
This part-time position is the first line of support for on-campus residents connecting to the Fort Lewis College Resident Network (ResNet). Start date is August 24, 2009. Starting pay is $8.50/hr.

Duties:
- Each ResTech is assigned to a residence hall to assist on-campus students with getting connected to the ResNet and other related duties.

Qualifications:
- Registered student with a GPA of 2.5 or above
- Strong technical computer skills
- Familiarity with Windows & Macintosh operating systems
- Positive customer service-oriented attitude
