This artistic perspective below provides an idea of what the Fort Lewis College campus may look like after implementation of the updated Facilities Master Plan. The perspective incorporates the design recommendations of the master plan steering committee indicating a more pedestrian friendly campus with new buildings and additions that would address the identified programmatic issues as the campus develops to accommodate a student population of 5000.

As the campus evolves, each specific project will present challenges and opportunities for the College to improve the level of service that is provided. Updates and revisions to this master plan will be needed over time as program needs change and as the requirements of specific project demands are realized.

The master plan vision presented herein is intended to provide guidance and structure with enough flexibility to allow the College to meet the challenges of a premier 21^st century liberal arts college.
