To Project a Video

Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer. Make sure the equipment rack (below desk) red main power button is on, and the switcher (below the main power) VCR button is selected. The VCR is located in the equipment rack just to the right of the main power. The volume can be adjusted on the amplifier below the switcher in the equipment rack. To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

To Project the Computer

Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer. Make sure the equipment rack (below the desk) red main power button is on, and the switcher (below the main power) PC button is selected. The volume can be adjusted on the amplifier below the switcher in the equipment rack. You may also need to adjust the volume controls on the computer. To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer. Make sure the equipment rack (below the desk) red main power button is on, and the switcher (below the main power) DVD button is selected. The DVD player is located in the equipment rack just to the right of the main power. The volume can be adjusted on the amplifier below the switcher in the equipment rack. The computer will also play DVDs. To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

Connecting a Laptop

Connect the male 15 pin side of the monitor cable that is hooked to the equipment rack interface panel (below the switcher) to the laptop. Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer.  Make sure the equipment rack (below the desk) red main power button is on, and the switcher (below the main power) Aux button is selected. To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

Lights

There are several banks of flourescent and incandesent lights in this classroom. The lights switches are located down in front of the classroom near the emergency exit door.
