To Project a Video

Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer. Make sure the equipment rack (right of the computer) main power (top right) is on and the switcher (below the main power) VCR button is selected. The VCR is located in the equipment rack. The volume can be adjusted on the amplifier at the bottom of the equipment rack. If there is picture but no sound press the RGB button on the remote control to select RGB 1. To turn off the projector press & hold the green power button on the remote till the projector lamp goes out.

The volume can be adjusted on the amplifier at  the bottom of the equipment rack. If the computer image is not projected try pressing the RGB button on the remote. To turn off the projector press & hold the green power button on the remote till the projector lamp goes out.

Connecting a Laptop

There is a monitor cord connected to the interface panel below the computer. Connect the male 15 pin side of the cable to your laptop and the other end, female 9 pin, should be hooked to the interface. Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer.  Make sure the equipment rack (right of the computer) main power (top right) is on and the switcher's (below the main power) AUX button is selected. Power up the laptop last. If the laptop image is not projected try pressing the RGB button on the remote. To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

Lights

There are several banks of dimable lights in this classroom. The light switches are control located to the left of the equipment rack and near the classroom door.

Microphones
There are wireless microphones (Lapel and Handheld) located in a drawer in the equipment rack. Each mic is lapeled and has a corresponding lapeled volume knob on the amplifier.

Slide Projectors
There are 3 ceiling mounted slide projectors (35mm) in the rear of the classroom. There is a remote control for each projector kept in a drawer of the equipment rack.
