Turn on Projector by pressing the green power button on the Hitachi remote control. Choose RGB 1 with projector remote button labeled “RGB." Make sure the equipment rack (to the left of the computer) red main power button (top right) is on and select the Computer button on the equipment rack switcher.  For sound adjust the Volume Control knob on the switcher. You may also have to adjust the volume controls on the computer. Please turn the projector off when done by pressing the green power button till the lamp turns off.

Projecting a DVD

For sound adjust the Volume Control knob on the switcher.  Please turn the projector off when done by pressing the green power button till the lamp turns off.

Connecting a Laptop

A spare computer monitor cable (available from Media Services) is needed. Connect this cable to the laptop and and equipment rack switcher.   Turn on Projector by pressing the green power button on the Hitachi remote control. Choose RGB 1 with projector remote button labeled “RGB." Make sure the equipment rack (to the left of the computer) red main power button (top right) is on and Select the Aux button on the equipment rack switcher. Please turn the projector off when done by pressing the green power button till the lamp turns off.
