To Project a Video
The computer cart is kept in a locked closet to the left of the projection screen. The Music department faculty have a key to this room. Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer. Make sure the computer cart red main power button (top right of cart) is on. After the projector has warmed up press the Video button on the remote control. The VCR is on the computer cart, and you may need to select the VCR mode button. For sound adjust the amplifier (below the VCR) master volume controls and the volume control labeled VCR. To turn off the projector, press the power button once and then again to confirm.

To Project the Computer

Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer. Make sure the computer cart red main power button (top right of cart) is on, the computer is on, and log onto the computer. If you don't see the computer image projected after the projector has warmed up- try pressing the computer button on the remote control. For sound adjust the amplifier (below the VCR) master volume controls and the volume control labeled Computer. You may also need to adjust the volume controls on the computer. To turn off the projector, press the power button once and then again to confirm.

Projecting a DVD
The computer cart is kept in a locked closet to the left of the projection screen. The Music department faculty have a key to this room. Turn ON the projector with the remote control kept by the computer. Make sure the computer cart red main power button (top right of cart) is on. After the projector has warmed up press the Video button on the remote control. The VCR/DVD player is on the computer cart, and you may also need to select the DVD mode button. For sound, adjust the amplifier (below the VCR/DVD) master volume controls and the volume control labeled VCR/DVD. This VCR/DVD player will also play Compact Disks, and the computer will play DVDs & CDs. To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

Connecting a Laptop
It is not there yet but soon in the closet, where the computer is kept, will be an long spare cable with a male 15 pin connection to hook into a lap top. Using the remote control to turn on the projector and press the Computer button and then turn on turn on the laptop last.
Lights
The lights are a little funky in this room. There is a little light switch just by each door as you enter the room. Press it firmly. The light should slowly fade up. There is also a programable light switch panel next to the computer cart closet. There are several different lighting arrangements to choose from.
