What IS Moodle?

Moodle is the online course management system at Fort Lewis College. All current semester classroom courses have online course shells, and all registered students in those classes are listed in those course shells. Instructors can upload course content for student view and interaction. Online content gives instructors and students the flexibility to engage in teaching and learning through multimedia delivery that reaches different Adult Learning Styles - Auditory, Visual and Kinesthetic (tactile, hands-on, practice).

What is WebOpus?

Well, it's pronounced "Web-OPUS", not "Webbo-PUS". This is an online system for students to apply for admission and register for classes at Fort Lewis College. Timely registration helps to ensure that a student is added to Moodle course shells sooner.

	Students: Moodle is a place where  your instructor can post much of your course materials, like Syllabus, Handouts, Reading Lists, etc. You may also be able to get your assignments, submit our work, take quizzes, and communicate with your instructor and your classmates - all online.
	Faculty: You won't be hearing, "Dude, my roommate trashed my syllabus with her snowboard!" anymore. Students can access your course materials anytime, anywhere there is an Internet connection. Moodle is a place where you can communicate with your students outside of the classroom, and track class activities, assignments, quizzes and exams - all on one web space.
