1. Boot up the PC
Turn on your computer and logon (if necessary) until you are at the Windows 2000 desktop.
2. Run the Internet Connection Wizard
From the Start button, select Programs, Accessories, Communication and then Internet Connection Wizard.

3. When you click Finish, you will be greeted by the following set of screens.
Agree to the certificate by clicking Yes.

After accepting the security certificate, your browser should bring up the window shown below.
Log In with your Fort Lewis Username and Password.
If you did not enter your username and password correctly then you will be prompted for your username and password again. Double check all your information and re-enter it.
If entered your information correctly you will be told that you are logged in and then taken to your set homepage.You will be greeted by the following screen. Click on the link that says "Click Here to continue browsing the web."

You should now be connected to the internet.
3. Connect to your M: Drive
You must connect via BlueSocket (above) before you will be able to connect to your Student drive.
Double-Click My Computer
Under the Tools Menu select Map Network Drive…

Enter M: for Drive and in the Folder box enter \\student\username (enter your Fort Lewis College username). Ensure that Reconnect at logon is checked. Click Finish.
In the Enter Network Password box enter FORTLEWIS\username in the Connect As text box and your account password in the Password box. Click OK.
5. You’re done.
Just reboot and logon under your new account and password. Your M: Drive will automatically be mapped and will be listed as a network drive under My Computer.
Note: You can also map to Faculty O: Drive (\\faculty\acadcommon) using this procedure.
