Save the date! Homecoming scheduled for Oct. 19-21, 2007

Fort Lewis College has announced that Homecoming is scheduled for Oct. 19-21, 2007.

Traditional events like the parade, bonfire, football game, and alumni awards banquet are again on the agenda for 2007.

The Skyhawk football team, coming off a 7-4 season that saw them win the Dixie Rotary Bowl, will host Colorado Mines in the 2007 Homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Ray Dennison Memorial Field.

The Alumni Association will host its annual awards banquet at 7 p.m. that same day.

Last year, more than 200 alumni from as far away as North Carolina and Washington, D.C., returned to campus for festivities that also included an alumni gathering at Steamworks Brewing Company in Durango, a pre-game tailgate party, and halftime and post-game receptions hosted by the FLC Alumni Association.

College officials will continue to plan Homecoming activities over the next few months.
