Fort Lewis College Department of Art & Design Scholarships are available to any declared Art Major (all options) at FLC.  Students must have completed a minimum of 45 or more credit hours (or will complete at the end of Spring term) to apply.

Department of Art & Design Scholarships are announced early in the Spring Semester.

The Art in the Library Competition, a partnership between Reed Library and the Department of Art & Design, is in its fourth year. A call for proposals goes out in September, and a five-member selection committee comprised of two Library employees, a Department of Art & Design faculty member, a student representative, and a Durango community representative selects the next year's featured student artist.

The winner receives a $500 grant to complete the project, which is installed in the Library at the end of the Spring term, and remains on display for a full year.
