Brian Bissell is regarded as a visionary executive with strong experience in finance, operations, information technology and strategic planning. He is a results-oriented leader with demonstrated success in organizational change, strategic thinking, and problem solving. Bissell has a proven track record of achieving strong financial results, designing and implementing efficient processes and systems, and increasing organizational effectiveness through data-driven decision making and accountability.

As Senior Vice President and CFO at Colorado Christian University, Bissell has been the architect of a significant financial turnaround resulting in dramatic improvement in the university’s operating performance. In this role, he provides executive leadership to a wide range of areas including finance, information systems and technology, facilities, investments, human resources, student financial services, legal and real estate. Bissell’s career in higher education spans more than fifteen years and has included a variety of roles in academic administration, enrollment management, development, and student services.  

Bissell earned a bachelor of science degree and a master of business administration degree. He is currently a doctoral student at the University of Pennsylvania. Bissell’s volunteer activities include service as Member of the Budget and Audit Committee for the City of Lakewood (Colorado), Trustee for the CCU Endowment Foundation, and Director for Christian Charities USA. He lives near Denver with his wife and children.

Bissell will serve on the Board of Trustees for Fort Lewis College through December 2010.
