A 6th generation Coloradoan, Matt is originally from Morrison, Colorado. He graduated from Fort Lewis in 1998 with a degree in Business Administration and went on to complete an advanced degree through MBDi in Charlotte, NC. He also graduated from the Leadership Program of the Rockies in 2005.
Matt is a nationally recognized expert and leader in the pipeline robotics and rehabilitation field. He has held senior level leadership positions in the industry and has been a guest speaker at numerous industry events. Matt has helped pioneer some of the technologies used in the pipeline rehabilitation industry today. He has also held leadership positions with the renewable energy industry specializing in large commercial and utility scale solar energy projects.
With a passion for animal agriculture, Matt spent a number of years managing ranch operations in Colorado and Idaho including his own cattle operation near his home in Sedalia, CO.
He has previously served on the Fort Lewis College Alumni Board as well as the Board of Directors for the Colorado Horse Counsel and the Legislative and Judicial Committee for the Colorado Contractor’s Association. Matt has also held an officer position with the Construction Executive Development Counsel. His term will expire Dec. 31, 2014.
