Community Involvement

Fort Lewis College Business School participates in many types of community involvement. The following are links to two of the community programs that we are heavily involved in:

Small Business Development Center
The SBDC located at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, provides assistance to all existing small businesses and others who need help in developing their ideas. The territory served by this location includes: Archuleta County, Dolores County, La Plata County, Montezuma County, San Juan County, Southern Ute Indian Tribe, and Ute Mountain Ute Indian Tribe.

Office of Business & Economic Research
This office, located in the School of Business Administration, provides information on the local economy. Four Corners Economic Quarterly, a website on local economic conditions, is produced by the office. It also hosts the Southwest Business Forum each January. The Forum presents reports and forecasts of local, state, and national economic conditions. Both the FCEQ and the Southwest Business Forum are available to the public free of charge.
