Centennial Memories
Students in Jean and Clay Bader's era knew the college fight song, "On You Aggies," by heart -- and still do!
Students in Jean and Clay Bader's era knew the college
fight song, "On You Aggies," by heart -- and still do!

It's been a long road from 1911's "agricultural and mechanic arts high school" to the State of Colorado's designated four-year public liberal arts college in 2011. But thanks to that distinctive and proud Fort Lewis spirit, it's been an adventurous, educational, and often downright fun journey.

That spirit that has fueled and shaped Fort Lewis is embodied by those who have attended, taught at, worked with, and cared for our institution throughout its first century. And it is their memories that write the true history of Fort Lewis College.

We invite you to share in those memories and tales of life at Fort Lewis over the past 100 years. Click on the decades below to read and see others' stories about Fort Lewis. Then add your own stories by sending your remembrances and photographs to centennialmemories@fortlewis.edu.
