The
Theatre major at Fort Lewis College enables students to fully explore
their potential as literate, articulate, and humane members of society
through a close study of the theory and practice of theatre. Students
so trained are able to bring highly developed communication skills,
flexibility, and creativity to a wide range of career opportunities.
The
academic program in the theatre department is supported by a strong
production program, which is the cornerstone of our work. Performing,
technical theatre, and administrative opportunities are open to all
students. Auditions and technical theatre interviews are held at the
beginning of each term. Participation in production is considered an
academic endeavor with course credit available.

for a minor in theatre are listed at the end of this section.
