LIST NAME

The recommended format of the list name is 6-15 alphanumeric characters of your choosing. SPACES ARE NOT ALLOWED. However, the list name may contain more than one word connected by hyphens (e.g., my-special-list or my_special_list).

Each list name will have "FLC-" added to the beginning and "-L" appended to the end to indicate that it is a Fort Lewis College mailing list (e.g., FLC-MYLISTNAME-L).

This name will be checked for uniqueness against all existing Fort Lewis College list names.

LIST DESCRIPTION

Please supply a ONE line description of the list, which can be up to 45 characters in length. When someone issues a LIST command to LISTSERV to find out what lists are available, this one line description is returned, along with the list name.

Please supply a multi-line, more complete description of the list. When someone issues a REVIEW command for your list, LISTSERV sends this description, along with other basic information about the list.
