Self-Love is First Love: My experience working with Student Wellness College can be a very stressful time in life. It is definitely a challenge balancing school, work, a social life, and still finding time to take care of your health. I’ve had to face this struggle during my time at the Fort and thanks to our Student Wellness services, I’ve been able to educate myself on the importance of balancing my crazy schedule while still making time to take care of myself. Involvement: The key to success

Engulfed in the flames of a busy school and work schedule, I asked myself: “What am I getting out of all this?” Doing the bare minimum is an easy habit to form when you are trying to balance your work and school schedule. But after really questioning my decision to be in school, I came to the conclusion that the bare minimum isn’t enough.

I remember telling myself I need to get as much out of my college career as I possibly can, writing “Get Involved” on my hand while looking out the library window as I did my homework.

Snyder B is the place to be It’s not a lie: Snyder B was the place to be. All the residents were always there. Even people who were not residents in Snyder B were always there. We mobbed over to dinner all together, we went camping all together, and we went out on the weekends all together.
