The EC Has Moved! The Environmental Center has moved!   The EC's home for the next two years is trailer #4 in Trailer Town next to the Mears Apartments.  We're enjoying life on the deck with the Independent and KDUR.

The Latest:  The Environmental Center is now accepting applications for our professional internship position for the 2009-2010 academic year.  This full-time, nine-month position provides training in all aspects of environmental non-profit work with a focus on engaging our campus community on sustainability issues.  Read the full description and announcement for details on how to apply.  For consideration, applications must reach our office by June 1st.
Featured Project The Environmental Center is sponsoring a Local Food Fellowship for two Fort Lewis College students this summer.  Local Food Fellows will manage the Environmental Center garden this summer and help with a number of local food projects around La Plata County.  Students will also take AG/390 Field Experiences in Agriculture during the first summer session.  Dowload an application.  Appliations are due April 22nd. Featured Event The Environmental Center is teaming up with Engineers without Borders and teh Anthropology Club for the 2nd Annual Cow Drop Fundraiser at the Green Living Expo on Sunday, April 19th at 12:30 p.m.  Spend $5 for a chance to win $500.  Tickets are available at the Information Desk, the Environmental Center, and Nature's Oasis.
