Zero-Waste is the name of the game. This fall, the EC will be promoting two programs to advance FLC's sustainability Action Plan.
Our campus move-in event will spread the word about recycling and offer additional capacity for excess cardboard. We also plan to premier the Free Store, a method to re-use material goods. Remember, one person's trash is another's treasure!
Last year, our zero-waste team recieved a grant from the Sustainability Fee to provide event recycling. We are in the final stages of preparation to begin offering recycling services at our events on campus.
