Governor’s Office of Energy Management and Conservation - The Governor's Energy Office (GEO) is Colorado's lead state agency on energy efficiency issues. GEO has grown from an agency created to respond to the energy crisis of the 1970s to one that now supports cost-effective programs, grants and partnerships that benefit Colorado's economic and natural environment.

 

San Juan College Renewable Energy Program - The Renewable Energy Program gives the student a solid foundation in the fundamental design/installation techniques required to work with renewable technologies. The concentration in Photovoltaic System Design and Installation is offered as an A.A.S. degree and or a one-year certificate. Both avenues include hands-on electrical training in our modern computer-based laboratory setting where the National Electrical Code (NEC) is emphasized throughout curriculum.
