Parking for Non-Credit Classes: No worries about parking when you attend a Continuing Education class in the evening or on weekends. After 5:00 pm on weekdays and all day on weekends, parking is free anywhere on campus, especially if you are participating in a Continuing Education class.

On-line Registration: You can register on-line today! (This does not include registrations for Innovative Month Programs.) Don't worry about payment information at this time, as the registration comes to us via email and is not secure. We will contact you when the class you have registered for meets its minimum (usually 8 students). You are welcome to call us anytime for an update on the status of your class: 247-7385.

Once you register on-line, our office will receive an email that posts your registration, and we will add you to your class roster. Early registration greatly increases the chances of a class being held, so don't hesitate to register now! You'll receive a return email from Continuing Education that lets you know we have received your registration, and that the next time you'll hear from us will be when the class is a "go."

Register By Telphone: Call us directly, and we'll register you immediately. Please provide payment information (VISA, MC, or Discover) or let us know if you prefer to send a check when the class is a "go." Payment will not be processed until the class meets its minimum.

Register By Mail: Send your printed registration form to the address above. Please do not send a check, but indicate if that is your preferred way to pay on the form. We prefer you to include your credit card payment information to secure your spot in the class. We'll contact you immediately upon receipt to let you know your registration has been received.

In-Person Registration: Come to the Office of Continuing Education in 315 Reed Library, and we'll be happy to take your registration and meet you in-person! We'll be moving our offices in January to the third floor of the Reed Library, and will keep you posted when that move has happened.

Withdrawal and Refund:
If you need to withdraw form a course, you must contact the Continuing Education office. Not attending class does not constitute withdrawal, and the course instructor cannot grant withdrawal or a refund. If you fail to withdraw, you will not receive any refund. If you fail to officially withdraw from a credit course, you will receive an administrative grade, which is unsatisfactory. Unless noted in the course description, refunds are granted as follows:

Courses extending beyond two weeks:

· 90% refund of tuition (not fees) if you withdraw prior to the second class session, however a minimum of $10 is retained.
· No refund after the second class session.
Courses of two weeks or less duration:
· 90% refund of tuition (not fees) if you withdraw two or more weekdays in advance, however a minimum of $10 is retained.
· 50% refund of tuition (not fees) if you drop the course during the two days prior to the first class session.
· No refund if you drop the course on or after the start date.

Class Cancellations:
Continuing Education classes are supported by registrations. A minimum number of students must register to hold a class, so be sure to sign up ahead of time so your class won't be cancelled. Don't wait until the last minute! Sign up TODAY!!! We will not process your payment until the class is a "go," but register to strengthen the class viability.

Grading:

Non-credit classes are not graded, and your participation is entirely up to you! You'll get as much out of the class as you put into it, but there is no academic pressure whatsoever. Credit classes (on-line college level classes and Innovative Month courses) are graded traditionally by the instructor, and you will receive a grade upon completion of the class. Your credits will be recorded in the Office of the Registrar, and you can obtain a transcript by requesting one in writing from the Registrar's homepage site. If you wish to become a Fort Lewis College degree candidate, you must apply for admission (247-7184).

Using the Library:
Students enrolled in Continuing Education courses have the same library privileges as other students. Students from out-of-state should present a copy of their course registration receipt to check out books.
