Online Registration: You can register for noncredit, community classes online today! When you complete our online enrollment form, you will receive an immediate email letting you know we've received your registration. We do not ask for credit card information online, so please call us with your payment information ASAP during our business hours. Many of our classes are filling to capacity, so please call us to hold your spot. Once the class meets minimum enrollment (typically 8 students), we'll let you know ASAP so you can look forward to attending. Payments are not processed until the class is a go. You are welcome to call us anytime for an update on the status of your class: 247-7385. Click here to register online

Register By Telphone: Call us directly, and we'll register you immediately. Please provide payment information (VISA, MC, or Discover) or let us know if you prefer to send a check . Payments are not processed until the class is a go (typically 8 students).

Register By Mail: Send your printed registration form to the address above. Please do not send a check, but do indicate on the form if that is your preferred way to pay. If paying by credit card, please include your credit card information to secure your spot in the class. Payment will not be processed until the class meets its minimum enrollment (typically 8 students). We will contact you when the class is a "go." If you indicate a preference to pay via check, we call you when it's time for you to send in your check payment.

Register In Person: Come to the Office of Continuing Education in 315 Reed Library, and we'll be happy to take your registration and meet you in-person!

Parking: No worries about parking on campus when you attend a Continuing Education class. After 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends during the school year, parking is free anywhere on campus. During summer months you can park free as well.

Withdrawal and Refund: If you need to withdraw form a course, you must contact the Continuing Education office. Not attending class does not constitute withdrawal, and the course instructor cannot grant withdrawal or a refund. If you fail to withdraw, you will not receive any refund. If you fail to officially withdraw from a credit-based course, you will receive an administrative grade, which is unsatisfactory. Unless noted in the course description, refunds are granted as follows:

Courses extending beyond two weeks:

  • 90% refund of tuition (not fees) if you withdraw prior to the second class session, however, a minimum of $10 is retained.
  • No refund after the second class session.

Courses of two weeks or less duration:

  • 90% refund of tuition (not fees) when you withdraw two or more weekdays in advance, however, a minimum of $10 is retained.
  • 50% refund of tuition (not fees) if you drop the course during the two days prior to the first class session.
  • No refund if you drop the course on or after the start date.

Class Cancellations: Because Continuing Education classes are supported by registrations, a minimum number of students must register to hold a class. Five (5) working days before the scheduled start date of class, we will let you know if a class has been cancelled. Don't wait until the last minute, enroll TODAY! We will not process your payment until the class is a "go," but early registration strengthens the class viability.

Grading: Non-credit classes are not graded, and your participation is entirely up to you. You'll get as much out of the class as you put into it, but there is no academic pressure whatsoever.

Credit-based classes (online college level classes and Innovative Month courses) are graded by the instructor, and you will receive a grade upon completion of the class. Your credits will be recorded in the Office of the Registrar, and you can obtain a transcript by requesting one in writing (see the Registrar's web page for info).

Note: If you wish to become a Fort Lewis College degree candidate, you must apply for admission (970) 247-7184.
