What is a team?
A team of two or three individuals may complete the event by switching off racers for the swim section of the race, the bike section of the race, and the run section of the race.
The team process begins with the swim, a "tag-off" to the biker, followed by a "tag-off" to the runner. The "tag-off" area will be designated near the transition area. Two person teams are permitted (the fee is still the team rate)
Where is the transition area:
The transition area will be near the Clock Tower and will offer a place for belongings
Teams will "tag-off" in this area as well
The transition area is approximately 50 yards from the pool (sidewalks, grassy) and the bike and the run start and end at the transition area
As "Tri the Rim" veterans will tell you...It is a rain or shine event (happily).
Are Ipods allowed:
Ipods, headphones, etc., are not permitted. Volunteers and other participants may need to communicate with you and you need to hear the traffic.
