Today the soul of society is being passed between generations instantaneously and in ways never dreamed of before. Technology, the Worldwide Web, and exponential increases in knowledge and access to it have made it imperative for us all to be aware of changes in education and the speed of its light.
Changing times require quick reflexes to stay connected to what is relevant, and things are changing fast! Students, formally educated and self-taught, along with lifelong learners of all ages, need to actively seek tools that will keep them competitive -- and, perhaps just as important -- collaborative, as a community and as individuals.
CE is working hard behind the scenes to examine and research new directions and programs that will strengthen your options for valuable educational investments. These are called "stackables," "badges," and "portfolios of competencies," and our new trainings (set to begin in Fall 2013) seek to empower, inspire, and equip you to stay effective in the workplace environment.
Our Spring/Summer offerings have dynamic classes that will open your mind and learning passions, too. Over 60 local classes and a multitude of online opportunities for career and personal development are here. The soul of our society is passing between us.
