This is a basic course for people who want to learn how to use digital photography technologies, gaining familiarity with the vocabulary and the functions of digital cameras. Course topics include understanding how cameras work, selecting camera settings, getting the best possible image quality, downloading images from the camera to the computer, organizing photos on the computer, and examining the various possibilities for presenting images to friends and family.
Paul Boyer has taught workshops in digital photography for the past eight years, and he leads photography tours abroad. Helping people realize their own vision through photography has become one of his major interests, and he has worked with hundreds of photographers from throughout the Four Corners region.
