Learn basic evaluation techniques that will enable you to effectively tell the story of your organization’s successes and challenges to your members, funders, and stakeholders. You will practice creating a logic model that can map in a single page where your program is headed and how you will get there. Using your logic model, you will then learn how to develop an evaluation plan that will outline what you measure, tools to measure and other important plan components.
Lauren Patterson has been providing practical program planning and evaluation services to Southwest Colorado non-profits, government agencies, public health entities and education institutions for fourteen years. Her repertoire includes program planning through logic model development, process and outcome evaluation design, data collection and analysis and development of highly usable reports including participant reflections and program recommendations. Lauren has experience with the following specialized services: stakeholder involved strategic planning, the Appreciative Inquiry model, World Café style community dialogues, community readiness surveying, youth-adult partnership facilitation, service-learning training and evaluation, focus group design and facilitation and cultural competency integration.
