Continuing Education

Sponsors

The Professional Nonprofit Management Certificate Program (PNMCP) is a collaboration between FLC Continuing Education and our Community Partners. Special thanks go out to:

Instructors teaching in the PNCMP, who so generously contribute their time, expertise, and knowledge for the benefit of our nonprofit sector.

Businesses and organizations who support the program by participating on the Nonprofit Leadership Committee have contributed program guidance from the very beginning and continue to monitor program quality and assess program content needs.

Finally, our community and FLC students who, through participation in the PNMCP, acknowledge the benefits of education and the necessity of keeping stride with an ever-changing world.

You all make our diligent efforts worth it!

It takes a village to support a nonprofit, and a beautiful village we are building -- together.

The PNMCP Outstanding Support Award goes to Kirk Komick and his family, who own the Rochester Hotel and Leland House and graciously host the PNMCP First Tuesday Club meetings on the first Tuesday of every month from 5:00 p.m. -- 6:00 p.m. -- and provide beautiful accommodations for PNMCP Instructors who travel to Durango from the out of town to teach in our program.

THANK YOU!

Scholarships

We are currently seeking scholarship and grant funding for students enrolled in classes offered through the PNMCP. Only students enrolled in the Certificate program will be eligible for tuition rebates at the end of a term if support is received from Foundations and funders for this purpose.

At this time, we do not have scholarships for 2014 classes, but we are working on it! Please check back periodically for updates about scholarship availability or, if you have questions, contact the Office of Continuing Education.

Individual nonprofit management classes are offered in conjunction with the Professional Nonprofit Management Certificate Program. For pre-registered PNMCP students, class attendance hours apply toward a Certificate in Professional Nonprofit Management.

PNMCP students can use CE's Attendance Log to track their progress as they work toward completion of the required 50 hours of in-class participation. You may open and save the log form as a Word document or as an Adobe document.

Please Note: You may take nonprofit management courses without registering in the PNMCP as a Certificate student. Course hours cannot, however, be applied retroactively to a Certificate after the term ends.
