We are dedicated to the liberal arts mission of Fort Lewis College to promote and facilitate student learning in the area of work and life planning. Keeping students central in all decisions and actions, our programs and services are designed to produce citizens who develop and accept an integrated and adequate picture of themselves and their role in the world of work with satisfaction to themselves and benefit to society.

The Skyhawks Job Source
for full-time, professional, internship, and part-time positions.

Our new on-line, web-based system allows students to search for positions, post resumes and cover letters for employers to view. The system also allows students to apply for positions on-line. Students who up-load a resume to the site will be included in candidate searches by employers and by the Career Services Office. Students can keep track of and manage their job search activities as well.

Once a student is registered, they can up-date their profile every term or year, add new resumes, delete old ones, and stay current with programs such as workshops and on-campus recruiters; and events such as career days and the Etiquette Dinner offered by the Career Services Office at Fort Lewis College.

Career Planning Job Placement
Career Planning is a life-long process that includes self assessment and occupational exploration. Career Services offers activities, assessments, events and education to help you learn about yourself and career options that match your interest, personality and skills. The optimal career choice is one about which you are excited and motivated to gain experiences that allow you to grow in the field.

Job Placement is a series of tasks that occur throughout your Career Planning process. Career Services provides you with programs, tools and coaching that will help you conduct a job search, potentially leading you to offers from employers in which you are interested. Once placed, career planning activities will potentially begin again to prepare you for the next step or next job in your career path.
