On-Campus Recruiting

During the Fall and Winter academic terms employers are welcome to come to Fort Lewis College to recruit graduating seniors, or sophomores and juniors for internships. To schedule a date for an interview contact the Career Services Office at least 3 weeks prior, however, 4 weeks would be preferred, to your visit. You are welcome to schedule your dates well in advance - by July or August for the fall term and in October or November for the winter term. There is limited availability of rooms for interviewing so the sooner you select your time the better chance you will have to get your date.

The calendar of events shows what is scheduled, including breaks and other activities that may impact an on-campus recruiting visit.

Interview Schedule

The typical schedule consists of ½ appointments with a break for lunch with relevant faculty and Career Services staff. You may set any parameters you wish to your schedule; however, be sure to make the Career Services Office aware of your needs. Some of the information we need is:

  • What time for the first interview?
  • What time for the last interview?
  • Breaks – when?
  • Lunch – Sponsored by the Career Services Office on-campus or do you have other plans?

The interview scheduling form is attached along with an Affirmative Action form. See [link to FLC policies] for the employment policies that Fort Lewis College follows.
