Career Day (Fall Event) and the Job Fair (Winter Event) are opportunities to:
- Recruit candidates for full-time positions, part-time positions, internships, etc.
- Provide information about the organization/business – how to apply, what you want in candidates, and career paths
- Help students understand what skills are relevant to your industry
- Offer suggestions about the job search process, applications, resumes, letters and interviewing.
What you should bring:
- Business cards
- Career path information
- Vacancy listings
- Basic employer brochures
- Displays that will fit on 6-foot table
- Trinkets (pens, toys) optional

Event Location
The Career Fair will be held in the College Union Building (CUB) in the Ballroom (above the River Rock Cafe). If you have materials that are heavy, you may go to the loading dock and use the elevator. Look for the signs. You may remain parked in the loading dock area for 20 minutes, at which time you can park legally. Please note: even when unloading you must park legally. The College Union Building is being remodeled summer 2009. The facility will be more accessible for Fall 2009.
Parking Permit & Policies
A Parking Permit will be sent to you or your contact via email once your registration payment has been received. Please print the permit on yuor printer and display on the dash of your vehicle; however, you must park legally i.e., no fire lanes, unmarked areas, etc. Do not park at metered parking unless you are willing to pay the meter throughout the day. Lot L is most convenient; however, you may park in any lot on campus. You may remain parked in the loading dock area for 20 minutes while loading or unloading your materials. There is an elevator just inside the loading dock area. Please move your car as soon as possible after unloading your materials.
