Career Seminars
Career Services offers free seminars to help you with career related experience, decision making, job search, resumes, letters, interviews and selecting a graduate school. Seminars are held in the Mountain View Conference room in Miller Student Center next door to the Career Services Office. The seminars are open to all Fort Lewis College students and alumni.

Career Planning & Career Fairs
This seminar presents information on how to assess yourself in relationship to career choices and how to prepare and plan for entry into a career field. How to use Career or Job Fairs effectively will also be presented.
Cooperative Education & Internships
Obtaining relevant experience while in school is absolutely the best activity you can undertake. You will gain experience, develop skills and get information that will help you make decisions about your career. These seminars will take you through the process of applying for a work/career related experience.

Graduate School
This seminar takes you through the entire process of graduate school application. Topics that will be discussed are: how to select a school, what to look for, financial resources, essays, letters of recommendation and more.
Interview Techniques
Learn how to present yourself so that you get the job offer. The seminar will also include tips on how to relax and how non-verbal cues help or hinder the interview process.
Job Search
This seminar will help you understand how to conduct a comprehensive job search. You will learn about researching employers, the importance of the paperwork -- resumes, cover letter, application forms.
Resumes & Cover Letters
Learn the latest techniques in creating a professional resume and cover letter. Learn how a resume and cover letter work together to help you present yourself effectively to an employer or graduate school.
