FINANCIAL AID OFFICE
The Financial Aid Office awards the following scholarships automatically for currently enrolled Fort Lewis College students who meet renewal criteria. No scholarship specific applications are required.

- Cumulative 2.5 FLC GPA and complete 24 credits per academic year
- Annual award: $4,000 out-of-state/$750 in-state
- Renewable for 8 semesters if you meet academic criteria
BACCALAUREATE BOUND - RENEWAL
- Cumulative 2.5 FLC GPA and complete 24 credits per academic year
- Guaranteed for a total of 8 semesters or 120 credits, whichever comes first
- $500 awarded per academic year
DEAN'S TUITION SCHOLARSHIP - RENEWAL
- Cumulative 2.5 FLC GPA and complete 24 credits per academic year
- Annual award: $6,000 out-of-state/$1,000 in-state
- Renewable for 8 semesters if you meet the academic criteria
FIRST GENERATION STUDENT GRANT AWARD
- Colorado resident for tuition purposes
- Neither parent has earned a bachelor's degree
- FAFSA required
- Cumulative 2.00 FLC GPA and complete 24 credits per academic year
- Automatically awarded until funding is gone
- Renewed for 8 terms of continuous attendance (excluding summer)
- $2,000 awarded per academic year, 1/2 in Fall and 1/2 in Winter
FORT LEWIS ACHIEVERS SCHOLARSHIP - RENEWAL
- Guaranteed for a total of 8 semesters or 120 credits, whichever comes first
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA and complete 24 credits per academic year
- $500 to 1,500 per academic year
FORT LEWIS MERIT SCHOLARSHIP FOR COLORADO RESIDENTS - RENEWAL

MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS
- 3.5 College GPA and above - Annual award: $2,500 out-of-state, $1,000 in-state

NEW MEXICO RECIPROCAL AGREEMENT - RENEWAL (limited in quantity)
- For students who live in New Mexico, with priority given to San Juan County residents
- In-state tuition rate for students with a 101 index or higher
- Guaranteed for a total of 8 semesters or 120 credits, whichever comes first
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA and complete 24 credits per academic year

ADMISSION OFFICE
Freshmen complete the Fort Lewis College application by our priority deadline of May 1 for Fall semester consideration. Funding may be available after May 1, but preference is given to applicants who meet the priority deadline. Scholarships are renewable for 8 semesters or 120 credits if you meet academic criteria. No other application is needed.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION / OFFICE OF ALUMNI RELATIONS
The application for the Alumni Scholarship or Old Fort Scholarship (described below) may be entered online at http://www.fortlewis.edu/alumni_friends/alumni/application.asp, or it may be printed and mailed (or dropped off) to Office of Alumni Relations, Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive, 2201 Berndt hall, Durango, CO 81301. The application can also be faxed to (970) 247-7175. Detailed information about the scholarships is also listed at the link above. Incomplete application packages will not be considered. Alumni Association application form, letter or essay, all high school and college transcripts (may be unofficial) and documentation of financial or special needs are required for both scholarships. Application deadline for these scholarships is February 15, 2010.

FORT LEWIS COLLEGE FOUNDATION OFFICE
Applications are obtained from and returned to the FLC Foundation Office, 2200 Berndt Hall, 1000 Rim Drive, Fort Lewis College, Durango, CO 81301 (970)-247-7121 unless otherwise stated, or you can print an application from our website at: http://www.fortlewis.edu/alumni_friends/foundation/scholarships.aspx Please refer to this website for additional requirements specific to each scholarship. Detailed information about the scholarship is also listed on the website and the website information will take precedent over information in the Fort Lewis College Scholarship Guide. Incomplete applications will not be considered. All scholarships require essays and some require that a FAFSA to be filed with Financial Aid. Copies of required transcripts (unofficial transcripts accepted) must be submitted by the applicant. Depending upon availability of funds, more than one award may be granted on some scholarships. Scholarship renewals require reapplication. Unless otherwise stated, all applications are reviewed by the FLC Foundation Office and applicable Scholarship Committees. Application deadline for all Foundation Scholarships if February 15, 2010.
AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY WOMEN (AAUW) SCHOLARSHIP
- Female non-traditional student at least 25 years of age
- Must be resident of La Plata, San Juan, Archuleta, Montezuma, or San Miguel counties
- Must have completed 30 credit hours minimum and have 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Separate AAUW application required (found on Foundation website)
- Academic transcripts, FAFSA, and one paragraph statement of short and long term goals

MARYMAUREEN KATHRYN ANDERSON SCHOLARSHIP

INA WELSH COOK MARTIN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
- Freshman, in-state resident, with a 3.5 GPA

- Priority given to students with a learning disability majoring in teaching, or teaching the disabled

Most of the scholarships listed will require an application. Unless otherwise noted, applications must be obtained from and returned to the department authorizing the scholarship. Scholarships are generally for full-time, degree-seeking students who have not previously earned a bachelor's degree.
Most recipients will be notified of their scholarship award(s) by mid-June 2010. Generally, unsuccessful applicants will not be notified.

Scholarships are credited to the student's Fort Lewis College bill. Amounts are approximate and depend on fund availability each year. The total amounts are for the entire year and are split evenly between Fall and Winter terms, unless otherwise indicated.
