Employment Opportunities The Student Life Center and Intramural Program are student run, making the Recreational Services Department one of the largest student employers on campus. Students have an active role in supervising, organizing, and implementing the programs. Working for the Recreational Services Department is not only fun, it gives students valuable work experience.

Wanted: Intramural Supervisors The Intramural Department is currently seeking individuals to supervise Intramural officials, scorers, and games. Previous leadership experience preferred and specific sport knowledge is required. Work-study is preferred, buy not required. There will be one supervisor per sport. Supervisors will be required to work approximately 8 to 12 hours a week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist with training, supervision, and evaluation of official.
2. Assist with team and official scheduling.
3. Assist with set up and take down of Intramural events.
4. Responsible for all equipment.
5. Handle participants questions and concerns.
6. Enforce all Fort Lewis College Intramural rules.
Skills Needed:
1. Must have strong leadership abilities and knowledge of rules and officiating procedures for at least one of the following: softball, flag football, volleyball, soccer, and/or basketball.
2. Ability to supervise and work well with peers.

No previous officiating experience is necessary as all training will be provided. Work-study is preferred, buy not required. Officials will be required to work approximately 8 to 12 hours a week.

2. Assist with set up and take down of Intramural events.
3. Assist with equipment check out and check in.
Skills Needed:
1. Must be able to work evenings
2. Knowledge of specific sport rules required.
3. Ability to work well with peers and participants.
4. The Intramural Program will train.
