Students have numerous opportunities for involvement in co-curricular activities while attending Fort Lewis College.  There are more than 65 registered organizations and a myriad of other leadership opportunities like Admissions Ambassadors, Housing Resident Assistants, Student Orientation leaders and club sport organizers. Involvement in organizations provides valuable opportunities for students to recognize, develop and strengthen their leadership skills.

The Leadership Center serves as the primary resource for information and support for campus involvement opportunities.  It provides a wide range of services to help students achieve success, including:

 

·        Experienced Leadership Center staff

·        ASFLC Student Senate Offices

·        Student Organization Mailboxes

·        All paperwork and resources needed for running Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) including

o       Minute sheets

o       Registration forms

o       Copy codes

o       Liability waivers

o       Travel authorizations

o       Request for payment

o       Purchase orders

o       Room reservation requests

o       Travel and event grant requests

·        A resource room stocked with computers, poster paper, markers, paints, and many more imaginative resources and supplies that clubs can use to create publicity for meetings and events.

 

The Leadership Center staff will work with sponsoring campus organizations to provide assistance with coordinating campus-wide events including Tri-the-Rim Triathlon, Welcome Week, Hozhoni Days, Student Club Fair, Homecoming, Late Nite programming, and much, much more.
