Strawbale Greenhouse Project In the fall of 1998, several students at Fort Lewis College approached Dr. Phil Shuler with the proposal to build a strawbale Greenhouse at the "Old Fort", otherwise known as the CSU San Juan Basin Research Station.  The greenhouse is now up and running and producing many exciting plants, some of which have been used to landscape Fort Lewis College campus in the sky.
